Ryan Smith, Host
Ryan Smith is the founder of Combat Sports Talk and the host of the weekly podcast. Having followed the UFC for over 10 years, he has commented on MMA since 2011. Ryan launched CombatSportsTalk.com in November of 2011 and started his live, weekly webshow that ran for 41 episodes in 2012.
After a catastrophic loss of his archives, Ryan served as a moderator for one of the largest MMA communities on Google+. In June of 2015, he launched the Combat Sports Talk Podcast where he continues to share his love of the sport in a way that is accessible for the casual observer but fun for the serious fan as well.
George Stallworth, Co-Host
Multiple-time Muay Thai Tournament Champion and MMA Coach, George Stallworth brings decades of combat experience to the Combat Sports Talk podcast. With a keen eye for the strategy and movement of martial arts, George skillfully provides commentary with professional accuracy. George joined the show full-time in 2020, but has been hosting live events during pay-per-view events since 2018. His dream is to someday coach professional fighters in the UFC, Bellator, or another global promotion.
John Keyes, Co-Host
A veritable MMA Encyclopedia, John Keyes brings tremendous knowledge of the sport to the Combat Sports Talk podcast. With near photographic memory of action from UFC 1, through the wars in PRIDE, WEC and Strikeforce, to the action taking place today in the UFC and Bellator, John delivers comprehensive takes on topics of note in the MMA world. An avid gamer and pop-culture fanatic, John shares how other media outside of MMA influence the stories as they unfold in our sport.
Kelechi “KC” Onyebuchi, Co-Host
First joining the Combat Sports Talk podcast in Episode #3, Kelechi “KC” Onyebuchi provides a mixture of humorous non-sequitur and detailed, thoughtful arguments to the topics he is most passionate about. A former college athlete and world traveler, KC has trained several martial arts alongside professional MMA fighters as a member of Factory X. A champion powerlifter and technology enthusiast, KC ensures that the discussion stays light and fun whenever he has an opportunity to join the team on the show.
