Episode 092 – War Weekend Part 1: Bellator 220 and UFC Sunrise

It was the first of two war weekends in a row where Bellator and the UFC went head to head on the same night. On DAZN PPV Bellator held the next round of the Welterweight Grand Prix where Rory the Red King MacDonald put his title on the line against former WSOF champion Jon Fitch. And in the UFC, Jack Hermansson took a short notice fight against one of the most dangerous fighters at middleweight, Jacare Souza, who, if he won the fight, was promised a shot at the Middleweight title. Ryan, KC, and John review the results from all this weekend’s fights, cover headlines including Brock Lesnar retirement news and preview War Weekend Part 2, Bellator Birmingham and UFC Fight Night: Iaquinta vs. Cerrone.

Nope. Dude doesn’t want any of that smoke. Clearly he’s using the prospect of fighting in the UFC as a bargaining chip to increase his leverage on the WWE. He never intended fighting against DC Cormier. We were all marks.
